Fulham hosts Leicester City in a match from the 15th round
Fulham are currently 20th in the Premier League standings, being at the bottom of the table. So far Fulham have won just 8 points since the beginning of the campaign. Their record shows 2 wins, 2 draws and 10 defeats. The club’s new manager Claudio Ranieri debuted with a win against Southampton, but in the previous round Cottagers suffered a defeat against Fulham at the Stamford Bridge.
More or less, it was expected to see Fulham losing at the Stamford Bridge. The game ended with a 2-0 win for the Blues, thanks to goals from Pedro and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. We can assume that this loss was part of Fulham’s plans, so now they will concentrate more on their home game against Leicester.
It’s a curious thing that Fulham’s manager Claudio Ranieri will face the same club which he made champion few years ago. You can be sure that Leicester’s fans will give the Italian manager a standing ovation, no matter that the will be against their team on Wednesday night.
Leicester City are doing well in the league so far. The Foxes are 8th in the Premier League with 21 points, having a record of 6 wins, 3 draws and 5 defeats. In their last five games Leicester are doing really well, being unbeaten in these matches – they have two wins and three draws.
In their last game Leicester enjoyed a 2-0 win over Watford at the King Power. It was Jamie Vardy and James Maddison who scored for Claude Puel’s team.
