The champion Barcelona is still fighting to defend its crown in La Liga. The catalans are just two points behind the leader Real Madrid, athough the Los Blancos have a game in hand. Now Barca will travel to meet Granada, knowing that every mistake until the end of the season could be decisive.

Barca lost its last away game in La Liga, being beaten by Deportivo La Coruna at the Riazor. This was the reason why Barcelona once again lost the first place in the league, giving once again an important advantage to Real Madrid.

In the last round of La Liga Barca showed some muscles and beat Valencia at home, but now they will have to test their away form once again.

Granada on the other hand is one of the weakest teams in La Liga this season. They are very close to relegation to Segunda Division, having won just 19 points from 28 games played so far. They lost four of their last five games in the league, winning just once – against Alaves at home.

There are some problems for Barcelona’s manager Luis Enrique before the game. The biggest one of all is related to Lionel Messi, who is suspended for the game. Aleix Vidal remains injured, while Arda Turan and Jordi Alba are doubtful for the game. The good news come from the recovery of Jeremy Matheiu, who is once again fit and ready to play.

Granada could be without three of its players – Matthieu Saunier, Héctor Hernández and Adrian Ramos, who are all doubtful for the game against Barca. The good news are that Omer Atzily, Martin Hongla and Panagiotis Kone are fully recovered and ready to play.

This is another must-win game for Barcelona. If the Catalans lose points once again, it could be fatal for their title ambitions. Can they find the consistency they need? Let’s see!
