Sevilla faces Barcelona in the direct clash for the Spanish Super Cup on Sunday night.

This time it’s going to be just one game and it’s going to be played at the Grand Stade de Tanger in Tanger, Morocco. Here are our predictions football 1×2 for this clash.

The experiment with Vincenzo Montella didn’t work too well for Sevilla. The Italian manager led the team to the final of the Copa del Rey and the 1/4-finals of the Champions League, but in La Liga the performance of the team was too average. That’s why Montella didn’t continue with the club, being replaced by Pablo Machin. Machin made some great things with Girona, so it was far from surprising that the big clubs started to look at him.

Once again Sevilla were pretty active on the transfer market. The Andalusian club signed Ibrahim Amadou from Lille, Joris Gnagnon from Rennes, Aleix Vidal from Barcelona, Thomas Vaclik from Basel, Roque Mesa from Swansea and Sergi Gomez from Celta. Meanwhile they sold the central defender Clement Lenglet to Barcelona, while Joaquin Correa moved to Lazio. Guido Pizzaro was sold to the Mexican Tigres and David Soria moved to Getafe.

For Barcelona it’s going to be a new era without Andres Iniesta. The legendary captain of the team left and moved to Japan. Yerry Mina, Lucas Digne, Aleix Vidal, Paulinho and Andre Gomes are also not a part of the team anymore.

In the same time Los Cules signed Malcom from Bordeaux, Clement Lenglet from Sevilla, Arthur from Gremio and Arturo Vidal from Bayern Munich. Barca’s squad for the next season looks impressive, while it’s still about to be seen how they will deal with the absence of Iniesta.

These are our predictions football 1×2 for the Spanish Super Cup clash between Sevilla and Barcelona. Wish you good luck!
